Hope you have been practicing singing in the past week and your vocal chords are now prepared to take on the nuances of getting on with the real thing- the actual recording.

Moving on from where we left off the last time around – here are the rest of the gadgets you will need to set up your very own recording studio.

Gadget 2 – Your Microphone:

While your standard microphone may be adequate to chat with your long distance friend, you may require something more technical for your recording needs. You’ll need one that will record your music perfectly. Microphones are the most important feature in recording your music because their quality varies widely and they are what you hear.

There is a wide range of microphones available such as condensers, dynamics, tubes and many more .It has been observed that live mics are not always great for the studio. Generally, wide diagram condensers are what you want for vocals. That again you have to decide seeing your pocket. Remember that if you are going to record in groups, or different types of instruments, you’ll require more than one microphone.

There are very few people who dislike music. Most people love music and it makes them feel free and alive. And with the internet there is so much of music available; what?s more you can download music for free via the net. Because of this amazing thing of being able to download music online for free, we find many more people attracted to it and joining various websites to download this music, after all who doesn?t like downloading music for free, right?

Working in the music recording industry means a chance to work with top recording artists and musicians. There are many different careers in the industry. Music producers guide the shape of sound, while a sound engineer captures sound.

The music business is trending towards moving online, so it is really important to learn as much about the music recording side of the business as you can. Digital music distribution over the Internet has really changed the landscape of the music business. Music technology has also grown quite a bit. Today’s musicians must have knowledge about technology — some of which is software. The virtual world means having to be famaliar with software, plus there is still some hardware based technologies.
